Replace ID

The ID number range module in DEXIOS enables the central configuration of ID areas for access control. You can define both individual ID IDs and number ranges that are assigned to people for access control

Add a new replacement ID number range

Open the dialog to create a new number range.

Filter the list by name of the administrative unit or name.

Shows all existing administrative units with stored replacement identity card number ranges

Select one or more entries for further actions.

Add a new replacement ID number range
  1. On Ersatzausweis-Nummernkreis.png Click “+ Add a new replacement ID number range.”

  2. Select administrative unit

    Select an administrative unit from the drop-down list.

  3. Define number range

    In the Replacement ID number range area, enter the name, minimum and maximum value.

    If necessary, use “+ Add values” to create additional number ranges.

  4. Individual badge IDs

    In the ID number area, select “+ Add new ID number”.

    If necessary, add more ID numbers.

  5. Complete the process by clicking Save.

ID print settings

Badge layouts are created and managed in this area. ID printing makes it possible to create physical access cards for people. A layout defines the design of an identity document, consisting of a layout file and

Create a new layout

Open the form to create a new layout.

Show existing layouts with names.

Select one or more layouts (for example, to delete).

Filter the list by layout name.

Delete button

Removes one or more selected layouts.

Create a new layout
  1. Click “Create a new layout.”

  2. Assign layout names.

  3. With “Upload new layout”, upload the desired layout file.

  4. With “Upload logo”, upload the desired logo file.

  5. Download and customize a sample layout if needed.

  6. Click Save to stop working on a new layout.
