Create offline system
  1. Create information

    Offline systems type

    Default: OSS (cannot be changed).

    UUID

    Unique offline site identifier (automatic).

    Offline attachment ID

    Individual ID to identify the offline site.

    Name

    Freely selectable name of the offline site (required field).

    administrative unit

    Organizational allocation.

    client

    Client selection (default: WEB CLIENT).

  2. Connected devices

    • About “+ offline component” Devices can be added that belong to the offline site (see instructions for “creating a new offline component”).

    • The connected devices then appear in a list.

  3. Additional features

    Create special ID device groups

    • Activated: It will separate groups created for offline components, e.g. for targeted assignment of rights.

    Validity of access data

    Selection rule for access data ownership:

    • The first entry “Authorization ends with master record validity” means that the (offline authorization) validity is limited by the validity of the (personal) master record.

    • Second entry “Master record validity may be exceeded” means that the user can also set the days when the validity period expires

    • And with the third option “Time may be exceeded, date not”, the master record date applies, but the user can define the plus amount of overrun using the time end and time presentation

  4. Define validity

    Time at which the eligibility expires in a day.

    Expiry point of validity

    Exact time for the expiration event.

  5. Main devices for updating authorizations

    • About “+ main devices” Can devices be added that have permissions regularly update or transfer (e.g. for visitors or changing access rights).

    • Removed devices appear as selections in “Remove main devices”, as soon as added.

  6. Complete the process

    • Save: Create the offline site with the defined settings.

    • Cancel: Cancels the process without saving.

Tip

A new offline component can be created via “All devices” and then via “+add new device” (see Add a new offline component ). There, the type can be set to “offline”. When a device is offline component If it is to be operated (e.g. no permanent network connection), additional fields appear in the “Add a new device” form. These relate to door opening behavior and communication with the system
