new features
• Critical administrative roles can now be marked as protected
• Protected roles cannot be deleted or renamed, and the last user cannot be removed
• A new “My Permissions” view shows users exactly what permissions they have — combined of manually assigned, person-based and qualification-based permissions
• The new view is controlled by a dedicated feature permission, so administrators can decide who can see it
• Editing and viewing permissions can now be assigned individually for each report type
• The access rights report now includes both active and inactive people in a unified view
• Access rights reports now use clear sorting by name/first name by default
• Improved reporting performance & reliability
• Middleware ID in the device overview
• Extended ID length - ID numbers now support up to 20 digits and are compatible with modern ID formats
• Entra display name in user management - The Entra display name is now displayed in user management next to the standard user data set
• Advanced people search - people can now be searched using their external ID
• SCIM-based integrations can now filter people by personnel number
• Workflow screens have been redesigned with clearer step navigation and review options
• Status indicators and notifications are more visible during workflow execution
• Editing approval rules - Approval rules can now be edited directly
• “Open on holidays” toggle - time models now include an explicit toggle for handling holidays
• Makes it clear at a glance whether a time model applies to public holidays
• Optional notification recipients — Recipients are no longer required when configuring notifications
• Standard GDPR retention settings - DEXIOS is now delivered with useful standard storage settings
• More granular GDPR booking retention
• Companies can now be assigned to an administrative unit; new authorization checks ensure that changes are only made by authorized users for that administrative unit
integrations
• SAP SuccessFactors Connector (initial release) - First support for connecting DEXIOS to SAP SuccessFactors for personal data
improvements
• General improvements in user rights & roles
• Default Management Unit Protection — The default management unit is now read-only in the user interface, and updates to these are rejected by the system to prevent accidental changes
• Bulk deletes now correctly return a unique “Forbidden” response when the user doesn't have write permission, instead of a partial success
• The CSV export of the audit log has been hardened and now reliably processes very large amounts of data
• PDF exports of reports are now easier to read and uniformly formatted
• The source system field is now consistently read-only with a canonical default, which reduces input errors
• Excluded members of a group of people are now displayed correctly
• The deletion of groups of people is prevented if other records still depend on them, with a clear error message
• Faster, smoother page numbering
• SMS notifications are available
• Time profiles must now include at least one active day, with clearer validation messages
• Time models used in eligibility exclusions and qualifications behave consistently
• If the token retrieval fails, the original login request is retained, allowing users to return to their intended destination
bug fixes
• Security updates & security improvements
• This release includes important security updates, including upgrades to underlying libraries
• Improved authentication and authorization mechanisms, including stricter handling of client credentials and client-aware authorization monitoring
• Fixed an issue where personal details were missing from the printed ID PDF
• Improved error handling when ID numbers conflict with other data sets
• Booking records now show the correct time zone information
• Personal values are now consistently visible in detailed person views and exports
• Problems with metadata processing in personal data records have been resolved
• Calculations of effective accesses remain reliable, even if some related data is missing
• Resource permissions are now hidden when resource filtering is disabled to avoid confusion
• Dates are formatted consistently throughout the application
• Validation messages for mandatory fields now show the translated field name
• Renaming a client via the API is now successful without an unexpected error message
• Improved error handling during connector registration
Upgrade notes
Before upgrading
• Check report permissions: The individual “General Reports” permission has been replaced by permissions per report. Identify which roles need access to which reports so that the new permissions can be assigned after the upgrade.
• Verify the use of administrative roles: Critical administrative roles can now be marked as protected. Confirm that the appropriate users are already assigned to these roles before upgrading so that the new “last user” protection doesn't interrupt your workflows
• Confirm default administrative unit settings: The default administrative unit is now read-only - changes are rejected by the system.
• Schedule a backup as you would with any major update.
After the upgrade
• Assign the new permissions per report to the appropriate roles.
• Confirm that company assignments to administrative units reflect your organizational structure.
